Jodi Perkins 

Jodi Perkins is a high school English teacher moonlighting as a writer of contemporary fantasy. She lives on the Gulf Coast with her husband, teenaged son, two wiggle-butts (Gus and Po), two pigs (Lassiter and Juliet--ten points if you get that reference), and fourteen chickens. In addition to roughing out stories, Jodi loves paddle boarding, kayaking, charcoal-drawing, relaxing with a book on the bay, creating cool lessons for teens, and staying up way too late.
